Gramps is an older man who has lived a long and eventful life. Some may say he is bitter, but he says he is just brutally honest. He believes that many of the problems we have in our communities’ stems from younger generations beating around the bush when it comes to living their life, disciplining their children and the lack of family values or morals. Gramps would never “see your point” if you were a young man contemplating cheating on your wife. He would simply tell you to “keep your little soldier in your pants”. Sure, some of his viewpoints may seem a little Chauvinistic but that is the generation he grew up in; “In my day, men were men, families stayed together and children obeyed their parents or they got their little bottoms warmed up”. He gets agitated by stories on the news about teenagers all over the country who are clearly out of control, yet no real parents are anywhere around them. He believes that all of the true leaders of the country have either died or given up. He hates the fact that the only role models teens look up to are pro athletes and music stars. His favorite saying is “A Rose will always be a Rose, but a Dumb Ass, as stubborn as he may be, can learn to plow straight rows in a field if it has the right motivation”. He believes that the work ethic he grew up with is nothing more than a story in an old novel and that the welfare system has gotten too far out of control to fix. Politicians are whoremongers, warmongers, and self-centered dingle berries in the crack of America. Gramps has the sole purpose of waking up the people of the world and leaving his vast wisdom behind for generations to ponder.
